Re: Season 4

I missed the official air time and now I have to wait until tomorrow to watch it.... :(

"A regular Friday audience, 90 percent feminine and 100 percent well-bred, sat stoically yesterday through thirty minutes of the most cacophonous world premiere ever heard here - the first performance anywhere of a new Violin Concerto by Arnold Schoenberg. Yesterday's piece combines the best sound effects of a hen yard at feeding time, a brisk morning in Chinatown and practice hour at a busy music conservatory. The effect on the vast majority of hearers is that of a lecture on the fourth dimension delivered in Chinese." -An anonymous Philadelphia Record reviewer, on Schoenberg's Op. 36 Violin Concerto.

Re: Season 4

Drat. I missed it too because I wasn't able to use the TV that I wanted to watch it on.

I hope nobody spoils it for me until I have the chance to watch it.

Re: Season 4

I'm going to get some friends with me and we'll all watch S4E1-2 together...
I am SOOOO thankful I found it in HD on YouTube
and I'm leaving my laptop on overnight so if the video is taken down it will still play
(I will connect my laptop to my TV, because watching it on a laptop is impractical)

It's up? Link, please! :)

EDIT: Never mind, don't need a link. Saw it myself. Here's the video I watched:

If anypony missed the premiere, make sure to take a look at this before it gets taken down. I won't spoil, but it definitely promises that Season 4 will be great.

I got a link without a "hub" watermark
and I left it loaded on my laptop overnight to make sure it stays
It actually got taken down but it's loaded so I can watch it

I'm going to watch it today with 2 of my friends.
there's going to be buttered popcorn, so it is enjoyable.
No premiere of anything is enjoyable without buttered popcorn to scarf down in 0.00000000000001 seconds.

EDIT: wait it had the same split-second of Hasbro Studios in the beginning
but no hub watermark
hmm
somepony likes their watermark removal tool
EDIT 2:
1) that's not how censors were meant to be configured
2) my link which is apparently still up and has a hub watermark apparently http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bVIXPCFb … 2110364511

Re: Season 4

This is just me, but I thought the Season 4 episode... kind of sucked. I'll write a review of it later.

I thought it was kinda rushed.
I eagerly await your review though. ;)

That's actually been a problem with the show itself throughout its entire run, so it's nothing new.

Oh. Now that I look at it, I guess so. ;)
You can't blame the producers, though. They work so hard to fit all that stuff into a 45-minute time frame, not considering commercials... :|

Re: Season 4

I think SplatKirby will be happy to know that they're doing a Power Rangers parody in the sixth episode of Season 4. ;)

Re: Season 4

I saw the Season 4 sketches they did at BronyCon on Youtube; part of episode 1 and episode 6 are in there.

This makes me wonder...
Have they forgotten about their "all ages" audience and are now trying to appeal specifically to bronies?
You know what?
who cares
its power rangers
I've had those suspicions since season 3. We'll see how it goes.

Sometimes I think the same thing--there are lots of little jokes that the target demographic wouldn't catch, even since Season 1. You can find them somewhere on YouTube, I think.

Re: Season 4

Also, did anypony else notice this was one of the few times they mentioned death directly (Fluttershy says "I think it's dying" in part 2 of Princess Twilight)?
