Re: User Made Forums - 10000 bits

10 thousand bits for a user made forum? That's a lot of bits. I might request one, but probably not. But who knows but me? 10 thousand bits sound reasonable to me.

Re: User Made Forums - 10000 bits

If you get a Cutie Mark and then possibly get to Alicorn status or mod status, then you can get more! All you need to do is love and tolerate our users, post helpfully, and be as active as possible! :D It's not as hard as it sounds.

"A regular Friday audience, 90 percent feminine and 100 percent well-bred, sat stoically yesterday through thirty minutes of the most cacophonous world premiere ever heard here - the first performance anywhere of a new Violin Concerto by Arnold Schoenberg. Yesterday's piece combines the best sound effects of a hen yard at feeding time, a brisk morning in Chinatown and practice hour at a busy music conservatory. The effect on the vast majority of hearers is that of a lecture on the fourth dimension delivered in Chinese." -An anonymous Philadelphia Record reviewer, on Schoenberg's Op. 36 Violin Concerto.

"I am delighted to add another unplayable work to the repertoire." -Arnold Schoenberg, on his Op. 36 Violin Concerto.

Ok, I'm still a way away to earning my cutie mark. Is Alicorn selected when you earn your cutie mark, or this is just earth pony, unicorn, or pegasus when you get earn your cutie mark?

Alicorns are members that have been loyal and stuck around for a long time. For example Lolkid332 was one of the first users. He was very active (but vanished mysteriously later on) and became an Alicorn. There is no specific amount of posts you need to become one (But it will always be more than 100 at least). Mokat and jukyter are coming close, but Luna wants me to wait a little longer before I do that.

So no, you can't become an Alicorn by asking. :mustache:

3. What are the permissions for each user group? (ex: Can Blank Flanks see/post comments, topics or polls in your forum?)

Okay, after you fill this out, go ahead and post it.

Is it a forum on this site or a PunBB-hosting forum?
The word "forum" has two meanings to me now; Splat explained the other one to me just yesterday.

Re: User Made Forums - 10000 bits

I'm so confused on interest!
Okay, I know that the less you use your bank, the more shows up. BUT...
I once had 200 interest, so I withdrew 200. But it withdrew 200 from my regular bits, and the interest went away.
I'm asking here because I wanna gain as many bits as soon and as fast as possible, and they keep going away!
HOW?

Great. Now it's taunting me, and the only way to get the remaining 9000 bits is 9000 POSTS/3000 topics.
Great.

1. Rehydration's Rec Room
2. A place to chat about the awesomest pony-related stuff anywhere!
3. Blank Flanks not allowed to see or post.
Ponies, pegasi, unicorns, alicorns, royal guards, and admins are allowed to see and post.

:D I'm so excited! (Even though it's not much of a big deal.)

I disabled the ability for Changelings to view it too so that the people you don't want to view it can't just log out to have a look.

I just thought of a question: If I were to get a forum, would it be possible for me to have moderation priveleges over it?

Re: User Made Forums - 10000 bits

Ok. Several Follow-Up questions. Good Luck.
1: When I purchase a forum, will I be able to request that it be renamed/have the permissions changed afterwards?
2: If so, will I be fined in such an event?
3: Will I be able to request certain threads removed from the forum or stickied in it, regardless of the creator?
4: If so, will I be fined for doing so?
5: What was my fifth question going to be? I forgot.

Yes, it's a pretty simple process.

Nope, not at all.

Yes, you own the forum so you get to order threads to be stickied/closed/whatever.

Nope, it's all free.

You were going to ask me if I wanted to know how to go to Equestria, then I would say yes and we would go there and have a pony party.
