Backloggery

What IS backloggery, you may ask?
Backloggery is, plain and simple, a data website. You can basically put all progress into what games you play. For example:
U-- Pokemon Heartgold:
Just beat Sprout tower and got a Gastly. The quest has just begun, my friends.
Now, I know what you're thinking. Allow me to explain:
U-- unfinished.
B- Beaten. Bare minimum---final boss defeated, etc.
C-- Complete. 100%. All collectibles, items, sidequests, secrets, etc.
M-- Mastered. Self-imposed challenge. Beat LoZ with 3 hearts, Megaman X with no power-ups [or at least all the optional ones], beat Pikmin in the minimum amount of days.
You also type progress with each update, without spoilers. The site doesn't like that.
Also, you have to file it under the system you play. I filed DS games under DSiware as Ds and other types of games, cause that's the only one.
Really, the site only serves as a progress tracker and to compare with your friends.
Here is the site.

Re: Backloggery

I did try to get a Backloggery going, but I'm bad at keeping up with things like that so I gave up.

Re: Backloggery

I've made an account there. http://www.backloggery.com/sausagefanclub
I'll add more games that I already own whenever I think of them. I know I have a box of NES games I've never played. If you want you can recommend which game I should continue next.

However, I think this topic belongs in Websites. I'll move it there.

Re: Backloggery

I decided to add a backlog to my signature. I think it looks nice.

I bet you decided to do that because you saw me and CB do it.
Unless you didn't see that until you did it yourself, and it was just a coincidence. :derp:

Actually, I've wanted to do it, but just figured out how.

Re: Backloggery

Could I theoretically use this for other kinds of progress, like TV show progress? I watch a lot of stuff on YouTube.

Re: Backloggery

I don't see anything related to a Backloggery in either of your sigs. :?

"A regular Friday audience, 90 percent feminine and 100 percent well-bred, sat stoically yesterday through thirty minutes of the most cacophonous world premiere ever heard here - the first performance anywhere of a new Violin Concerto by Arnold Schoenberg. Yesterday's piece combines the best sound effects of a hen yard at feeding time, a brisk morning in Chinatown and practice hour at a busy music conservatory. The effect on the vast majority of hearers is that of a lecture on the fourth dimension delivered in Chinese." -An anonymous Philadelphia Record reviewer, on Schoenberg's Op. 36 Violin Concerto.

"I am delighted to add another unplayable work to the repertoire." -Arnold Schoenberg, on his Op. 36 Violin Concerto.

If you really wanted to, I guess you could do that. Nothing's stopping you. Although the site's really meant for games.

Re: Backloggery

Oh wait a minute.
Some things don't show up on my laptop.
All I saw was a black line.
