Hi, all.

I have an submission for the Villain Story.  It regards a character entirely of my own creation.  It has a naughty word or two.  Is it submissable?

MM

It's been completed for a while, now.  I've been looking for a place to post it.  I don't think this the place, though.

It's a "human in equestria story."

Sadly, the rules say that the villain can't be an OC. :(

Also if you wanted to post the story for a challenge you would have to replace the naughty word with a pony euphemism, or remove it and find a way to work around using it. I can't link directly to stories with swears in them (Famous stories like My Little Dashie are an exception), because this forum needs to be child-appropriate.

Re: The Super Duper Uper List of Storywriting Challenges

[Can't think of a title for this idea] (I might be the only one to do this.)
Simply make the most mismatched story you can think of, but the characters shouldn't be aware of the mismatches.
Conditions:
3,000+ words
Well-written
All characters play unfitting roles (E.G. Celestia as a commoner, Twilight as the village idiot, other ridiculous mismatches), but they're not quite used to the role.
No OCs. No Exceptions.
Characters can't appear to be aware that they're performing unfitting roles in the story, but they can't be completely unaware.

Not my best idea, but whatever.

Questions Unanswered:
Write a story, and leave an unreasonable amount of questions unanswered.
Conditions:
5,000+ words
Well... Written. (Note I didn't say "Well-Written". That would be a contradiction.)
No OCs
Has at least 3 major gaps in the storyline.
Ends abruptly, while making it seem someting more is to happen.

This one will be HARD for me to do.

Put your story online somewhere (Preferably on fimfiction.net, or just anywhere besides this thread), then post a link to it in this thread saying what you're entering it for.

Re: The Super Duper Uper List of Storywriting Challenges

Are we allowed to do some challenges as a team?

"A regular Friday audience, 90 percent feminine and 100 percent well-bred, sat stoically yesterday through thirty minutes of the most cacophonous world premiere ever heard here - the first performance anywhere of a new Violin Concerto by Arnold Schoenberg. Yesterday's piece combines the best sound effects of a hen yard at feeding time, a brisk morning in Chinatown and practice hour at a busy music conservatory. The effect on the vast majority of hearers is that of a lecture on the fourth dimension delivered in Chinese." -An anonymous Philadelphia Record reviewer, on Schoenberg's Op. 36 Violin Concerto.

If you're willing to split the reward somehow, then yes.
To keep it fair, I can't increase or decrease the value of an award to make it easier to split; for example an award in which one would become an Alicorn can only be given to one person if multiple people worked to complete the challenge.

Re: The Super Duper Uper List of Storywriting Challenges

You should make a creepypasta challenge. I'll make the rules:
1.)Must be good. This means:
a. No excessive gore. Otherwisse, it's not scary, just gross.
b. Must be at least 6,000 words.
c. The judger must be genuinely creeped out by it.
2.) Must be poneh related.
You can make up more if you want. I doubt you'll say yes, though.

Re: The Super Duper Uper List of Storywriting Challenges

I'm starting over on the million word story.
It's been way too long, and I forget what the original was about, anyway.

Re: The Super Duper Uper List of Storywriting Challenges

Double post!
I didn't actually start over--I took up another story that wasn't quite finished. I'm up to chapter five now, and I'm at 1,655 words.
As an added bonus, the story is made up of only dialogue, and it features my two favourite canon characters.

Re: The Super Duper Uper List of Storywriting Challenges

CHALLENGE IDEAS! :D

Turn Back the Clock:
Must focus on an event prior to the Mane 6 defeating Nightmare Moon.
Criteria:
Well-Written
Focuses on a past event in Equestria
4,000+ Words
No OCs

That was... Interesting:
Though the sentence structure has to be intact, the story doesn't need to make much sense at all.
Criteria:
Well-Written
Random, possibly to the degree of confusion
(If SFC decides for this condition,) No OCs.
3,000+ Words

Clo- *Hits otnay over the head with a brick.*

... Never mind then.

Thought I had another idea. Apparently not. I'll post it whenever it comes to mind.

Runs up to podium overlooking hateful people in the audience who took the fic seriously
Thank you! Oh, thank you! You're all wonderful! Rotten food is thrown, I catch a rotten eclair
Oh, thank you! I am hungry. Good night, folks! Runs offstage as soon as a truck is thrown on
